In Crimea, a Ukrainian was sentenced to 12 years for alleged espionage

On Friday, October 15, the so-called Supreme Court of Crimea sentenced Ukrainian Konstantin Schiringa to 12 years for allegedly spying for Kyiv (Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

We remind you that on April 15, 2020, Russian security officials detained allegedly members of the Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage group, which allegedly included a Russian servicewoman - Tetiana Kuzmenko and a citizen of Ukraine -  Konstantin Schiringa. The latter was accused of carrying out espionage activities on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services.
