Ukraine will not deport Russians from Crimea - Zhovkva
Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva said in an interview with "LB.ua" that Ukraine will not forcibly deport Russians who moved to Crimea after the occupation. In his opinion, "the rights of these people cannot be violated."
"We certainly cannot violate the rights of these people, just as we cannot violate international conventions concerning humanitarian law. There can be no forced deportation," - he said.
Zhovkva believes that if this happens, "the world will say that Ukrainians are the same as Russians, and this simply cannot be allowed.".
