ANNOUNCEMENT: Analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea over 2020

On Friday, January 15 at 12:00, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center will present online an analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea for 2020, which will reveal the main trends, dynamics and the number of offenses on the peninsula for the reporting period. We invite journalists and everyone to join the event, which will take place via the Zoom platform (registration link below). The broadcast of the event will also be available on the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Facebook page.

Speakers:

Eskender Bariiev - Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people;

Tetiana Podvorniak - Communications Manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center;

Lutfiie Zudiieva - public defender;

Aider Azamatov - a lawyer.

The press conference will present an analysis of the illegal actions of the occupying authorities of Crimea, violations of the right to life, freedom, security and personal integrity (searches, detentions, interrogations, arrests, etc.), violations of fundamental freedoms (violation of the right to a fair trial, highest attainable standard of physical and mental health; illegal transfers, etc.) for 2020. In addition, the speakers will present the dynamics and comparative statistics of human rights violations on the peninsula for 2017-2020.
