The Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, the head of the Department of Legal and Foreign Affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Eskender Bariiev, said in an interview with the 24 TV channel that pops are needed in Crimea to keep the occupiers constantly under tension.
The Ukrainian side has not officially recognized its involvement in pops. However, according to Bariiev, this may well be the work of the Armed Forces. Moreover, the expert noted that pops are necessary to keep the occupiers under tension.
"Both collaborators and Russian citizens who illegally came to Crimea are very scared. They are either silent or indignant. He said, although military facilities are being destroyed, there are also civilians who may suffer. These people previously supported the killing of Ukrainians and called for the destruction of the so-called Nazis,- Bariiev said.
