Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, head of the Department of Legal and Foreign Affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev, in an interview with Crimea.Realities, spoke about the situation in the occupied Crimea after the explosions.
After the explosions in Crimea, the rhetoric of the Russian-controlled authorities and pro-Russian civil activists changed. According to Bariiev, they either try to completely ignore these events, or note that they pose a danger to everyone.
“They were convinced that it was becoming dangerous for them too, that, it turns out, the valiant Russian army and Russian air defense are not able to protect them. Accordingly, they began to talk about the fact that civilians could suffer from these explosions”,- Bariiev noted.
Moreover, the occupiers have already begun to check bomb shelters. The expert stressed that the Russian authorities did not expect the West to transfer high-quality precision equipment, including missiles, to Ukraine.
