Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, head of the Department of Legal Affairs and Foreign Affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev, in an interview with the ATR TV channel, told how the occupants intimidate people in the Kherson region, as well as how they resist.
In particular, Bariiev spoke about how on April 6 Russian occupants broke into the house of Venera Kurtbedinova, a resident of the temporarily occupied Novooleksiivka. And also how they fired at a residential building in the village of Novooleksiivka.
In addition, the expert stressed that the situation in the Henichesk region remains difficult. On the part of the occupiers, there is an attempt to take control of power, and there are also collaborators who cooperate with the occupying authorities. Out of a dozen and a half elders who were in the Henichesk district, 5 became collaborators.
