Nobody accepted the occupation of Crimea – Bariiev on a new UN resolution

December 12, 2021

On December 9, the UN General Assembly adopted a draft enhanced resolution on the human rights situation in the occupied Crimea. Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, Head of the Department of legal and foreign affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev in an interview with the Crimea.Realities said that this document is another slap in the face of Russia from the international community.

“The countries that voted for the document participate in the Crimean Platform, that is, they have formed a coalition not just in words. The adopted resolution sends a message to Russia that no one has come to terms, has not forgotten, has not calmed down and has not adapted to the fact that Crimea is under its control”,- he said.

We remind you that this resolution contains important support for the Crimean platform, calls on the Russian Federation to stop the transfer of weapons and military to the peninsula, to stop violating the freedom of navigation in the Black and Azov Seas.
