One of the main reasons for the closure of the holiday season is the consequences of floods - Khlobystov
Expert of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Yevhen Khlobystov, on the air of the ATR TV channel, commented on the plans of the leadership of the occupied Crimea to close the holiday season ahead of schedule, allegedly due to the coronavirus pandemic and its modifications.
The expert noted that it is necessary to distinguish between a pretext and a reason. Still, he believes that one of the main reasons for the closure of the holiday season are the consequences of floods and mudflows, after the catastrophic downpours that recently hit the southern coast of Crimea.
“Rain drains, communal systems, namely, water supply and sewerage, are not in proper condition and require repair. Such a state of the communal infrastructure endangers the health of vacationers, but the Crimean leadership does not dare to say this directly”,- he explained.
