The problem with interruptions in water supply in Crimea will continue - Khlobystov

25 June 2021

Expert of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Yevhen Khlobystov said in his interview for the DOM TV channel that the problem with interruptions in water supply in the occupied Crimea will continue, despite heavy downpours and floods on the peninsula.

The expert emphasized that it is not known how the bottoms of the reservoirs will hold this water, since they were practically dry, practically empty.

“If we take as a basis the existing trends of rainfall forms of precipitation, which are rare, but intense, and sometimes catastrophic, then, unfortunately, we will not have a stable water level in the Crimean reservoirs. And, therefore, the problem of water supply interruptions will continue”, - explained Khlobystov.
