Bariiev presented to the international community the legal toolkit developed by the CTRC for the sanctions policy

On Thursday, April 15, the Head of the board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, the head of the department for legal and foreign affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev took part in an international online conference on the topic: Personal sanctions: a tool for protecting human rights. The EU framework and national initiatives in Europe and abroad. The expert stressed that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center is systematically working towards adapting the laws, similar to the Magnitsky Act, namely Bariiev spoke about the methodology developed by the experts of the CTRC for assessing the feasibility of imposing personal sanctions against persons who in the temporarily occupied territories cooperate with the occupation administrations of the Russian Federation.
