RF in Crimea seeks to make Ukrainians aggressive - Bariiev

Head of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, head of the department fof legal and foreign affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev, on the air of the UA:Crimea TV channel, commented on the detention of a citizen of Ukraine Vladyslav Yosypenko. The expert stressed that Russia will always strive to show aggressive Ukrainians who pose a threat to the Crimean society.

“Such repressive actions are exacerbated precisely at the end of February and in March. It is during this period that we are faced with mass searches and detentions”,- Bariiev explained.

The expert stressed that the Russian Federation will always strive to show the international community aggressive Ukrainians who can pose a threat to the Crimean and Russian populations.

“We must inform the international community about these illegal actions so that there is an adequate response. Therefore, human rights organizations, including the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, made a joint statement on this matter”,- he added.
