International Day of the World’s Indigenous People as a tool to protect the rights of indigenous peoples (video)

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center, with the support of the Open Society Foundation, held an international expert online discussion on the topic “International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples as an instrument to Protect the Rights of Indigenous Peoples”. At the event, representatives of the world's indigenous peoples spoke out in support of the Crimean Tatar people and declared the importance of consolidating and using UN mechanisms to realize their rights. Ukrainian experts stressed the need for legal regulation of the status of indigenous peoples in Ukraine.
