On Monday, March 15, the so-called Dzhankoy District Court re-examined the case of the wife of the political prisoner Riza Omerov – Sevilia Omerova, who had previously gone to a solitary picket in support of her husband and father. About three dozen people came to the so-called court session. The Crimean Tatar Resource Center was informed about this by Sevilia herself.

The woman said that the so-called judge agreed to summon the police major to the so-called court, who drew up a protocol with numerous violations, but rejected the request to summon an interpreter.
“The court session was open, but my father was refused to enter the courtroom and was also refused to be provided with a Crimean Tatar language interpreter. At the next session on March 22, 2021, a petition was submitted for the presence of the Major of the Police who drew up the minutes. We are looking forward to the next session”,- noted Sevilia.
In addition, about three dozen people came to support the woman. All of them were filmed by police major, authorized officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea Vladimir Gryukov, who said that an unauthorized mass event was taking place near the court.
We remind you that earlier Sevilia Omerova was charged with an administrative offense for going to a solitary picket, according to which a fine from 1 to 30 thousand rubles was imposed. The court did not find corpus delicti in the case and closed it. Later, the so-called Supreme Court of the occupied Crimea decided to reconsider the so-called administrative case of the wife of political prisoner Omerov.
