The so-called Supreme Court of the occupied Crimea denied the mother of the political prisoner Server Mustafayev, Venera Mustafayeva, to extend the deadline for filing an appeal against the decision of the so-called Bakhchysarai Court to impose a fine on her because of a solitary picket in support of her son. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

“The judge considered that Venera Mustafayeva had the opportunity to file an application within the time limit established by law. Lawyer Lilya Hemedzhi objected to this decision, referring to the fact that she was the applicant of Mustafayeva, and could not file a complaint due to a long illness. The court rejected the request on the extension of the terms”,- said the message.

We remind that earlier the mother of the defendant in the so-called second Bakhchysarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case Server Mustafayev, who was sentenced to 14 years, was brought to article 20.6.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Failure to comply with the rules of conduct when introducing a high alert regime in the territory with the threat of an emergency) and Article 20.2.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Organization or holding of a public event without filing a notice of a public event in the prescribed manner) because of a solitary picket in support of her son. She was fined 1,000 rubles.
