In the occupied Crimea, four FSB operatives were interrogated in the so-called case of the former political prisoner Edem Bekirov, who was released on September 7 as part of an exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. The testimonies of the witnesses contradict each other. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
“Lawyer Aleksey Ladin reports that the testimony of the security officials looks very fragmented, in particular, they were confused in the distance at which they were from the place where the ammunition was found. So one of them called the number 100 meters, the other one 200 meters, and the third argued that everyone was at a distance of 2-3 meters. Also, despite the presence of explosives, it was the FSB officer who first discovered the explosives. The defender is sure that everyone was so calm and at ease when working with a dangerous substance for only one reason – they themselves planted this bomb and knew that there is no danger”,- the message said.
We remind that on December 12, 2018, while trying to enter the Crimea through Chonhar checkpoint, Ukrainian national and Crimean Tatar Edem Bekirov, born in 1961, a resident of Novooleksiivka village of the Kherson region,
