The relatives of the Crimean Tatar activists, who were searched on February 17, said that Russian operatives behaved rudely and defiantly. Lenur Seidametov’s wife shared that the security forces immediately handcuffed the man and laid him down in front of the children. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

“Adzhire (Lenur Seidametov’s wife) was the first to wake up from the knock, saw the security forces unlocking the gate, woke up her husband. He opened the door, they immediately handcuffed him and put him down in front of the children. Then they announced his involvement in Hizb-ut-Tahrir and took away their phones. The spouses refused to sign the protocol, the phones were returned, Lenur was given namaz, he was able to collect the essentials and say goodbye to the children”,- the message said.

The son-in-law of the detained Oleh Fedorov, Eskender Memetov, said that the operatives behaved rudely and defiantly. All equipment, including telephones, was confiscated, while the investigator said: “You have the right to a lawyer, but you cannot call him.”
