On Monday, February 15, theso-called Nakhimovs District Court found the activist Ruslan Bekirov guilty of “giving false testimony” and sentenced the man to 300 hours of community service. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
We remind that on June 11, Russian security officials in the village of Orlyne, occupied Crimea, detained the Crimean Tatar Ruslan Bekirov. A so-called case was opened against him under Part 1 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Giving false testimony) and he was released from the FSB building on recognizance not to leave.
