Ludvika Papadopulu, an activist from Yalta, who was searched by Russian security forces on February 4 as part of a criminal case of “libel in the media or on the Internet” (Article 128.1, part 2 of the Russian Criminal Code), intends to appeal against the actions of the occupants. This was reported by lawyer Aleksey Ladin via his Facebook page.
“I must say right away that this event was headed by the investigator of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Crimean Investigative Committee, Anton Guliy, who earlier, as an investigator of the Investigative Committee for Alushta, had long and persistently investigated the case against journalist Alexei Nazimov and deputy (already former, of course) Pavel Stepanchenko, The FSB was convicted of extortion against the Alushta branch of the United Russia party”,- the report said.
Ladin noted that he and the activist signed a nondisclosure agreement. The defense attorney believes that the purpose of the search was not the seizure of the so-called objects of crime, but psychological pressure on Papadopulu “in order to shut her mouth”, since she “is not the author of the post because of which the case was opened, and did not even react to it with a like.
