The head of the Ministry of Reintegration of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov said in an interview with the LB.ua media agency that everyone, including the Russians who moved to Crimea after the annexation, will have the opportunity to freely decide where to stay after the de-occupation. He stressed that Ukraine is not going to violate anyone’s humanitarian rights.
“Everyone will have the opportunity to freely make a decision. If they want to legally live on the territory of Ukraine, they can obtain the status of foreign citizens, take Ukrainian citizenship or live as stateless persons. Or, these people can make another decision – to return to their historical homeland”,- he said.
Reznikov added that Ukraine is not going to engage in deportation, unlike the heirs of the Stalinist regime.
